1. Make a list of all the prime numbers less than 100. Try to discover an efficient way of creating the list.
2. The number 1 has only itself and ╥one╙ as factors, but it is not considered a prime number. There are good reasons why it should not be. Can you think of any reasons why 1 should not be called a prime number?
3. How much is 5 feet plus 9 inches, in inches? Give the answer, and then discuss how your method of finding the answer is similar to adding 1/3 + 7/12 by first finding a common denominator.
4. In this module you learned about equivalent fractions. Make up an example of geometrical figures which could be called ╥equivalent.╙ Does your example have a way of reducing a geometric figure to ╥lower terms╙?
